Cosmictron is commercial software
Section titled “Cosmictron is commercial software”The Cosmictron core (runtime, storage, auth, compliance layer) is proprietary, commercially licensed software. Every deployment — from the free Developer binary to Enterprise — is covered by a single license that ships with the product.
The Cosmictron marketplace, plugin SDK, and connector integrations are public on GitHub under a permissive license. You can fork them, extend them, and publish your own modules without a commercial agreement.
Licensing tiers
Section titled “Licensing tiers”Pricing is based on compute, not seats. Tiers exist to match deployment scale and support needs.

What the commercial license grants

- Production use of the Cosmictron core binary
- Commercial embed and OEM rights — ship Cosmictron inside your own product
- Priority email support on Team and above; 1-hour SLA on Business and above
- Enterprise features where listed below

Source escrow
Section titled “Source escrow”Enterprise plans can include a perpetual source escrow arrangement with a neutral trustee. Source is released to licensees on the usual triggers (bankruptcy, abandonment of product). Ask sales for the terms sheet.
